The Solar Mandate of Spirit Command was created to strengthen the practitioner’s authority when addressing, directing and commanding spirits. Its purpose is to reinforce presence, conviction and spiritual sovereignty, allowing the practitioner to stand more firmly within ritual and to issue instruction without hesitation, weakness or uncertainty.

The Sun governs this talisman as the primary force, establishing rulership, command, clarity and the central authority of the practitioner. Mars supports this current by lending force, courage, decisiveness and the power to cut through resistance. Together, these planetary influences create a firm and imposing current suited to evocation, spirit communication, ritual command and other forms of work in which the practitioner must be recognised as the directing intelligence within the operation.

This talisman is not intended to replace discipline, preparation or proper ritual procedure. Rather, it serves to reinforce the authority already being exercised, strengthening the practitioner’s voice, resolve and presence when dealing with spiritual forces that may be difficult, resistant or overwhelming.
