We are pleased to introduce a rather special addition to our collection: a handcrafted ritual knife, created by us from beginning to end, with particular attention given to its craftsmanship, appearance and functionality.
Unlike mass-produced ritual knives, this is an individual creation. From the shaping, grinding and heat treatment of the steel to the fitting and finishing of the handle, every aspect has been undertaken by us.
There is only one of these blades available, and this particular design will never be produced again. Once it has found its owner, no more of this design will be made.
Measuring 34 cm in overall length, with an 18 cm blade, this knife has been crafted from high-quality L4528 / N690 stainless steel, with a blade thickness of 2.5 mm. The steel has been fully heat-treated and carefully hollow-ground, producing an exceptionally sharp, razor-edged blade.
The handle is made from genuine springbok horn, rather than a synthetic imitation. A fitted brass bolster provides an elegant transition between blade and handle, while the hidden-tang construction allows the natural horn to remain the dominant feature of the handle.
Although created primarily with ritual and occult applications in mind, this is by no means merely a ceremonial or decorative blade.
Unlike many ritual knives that are intentionally dulled or produced solely for display, this is a fully functional, razor-sharp instrument. It is suitable for practical cutting tasks, both indoors and outdoors, and need not be reserved exclusively for ceremonial purposes.
Whether its eventual owner chooses to employ it as a dedicated ritual instrument, a practical working knife, or a treasured addition to a collection is entirely their decision.
We recognise that not every practitioner approaches ritual tools in the same manner. Some prefer to acquire their implements in an entirely neutral state, while others would rather receive an instrument that has already undergone the necessary spiritual preparation. For this reason, we are offering three different purchasing options, each providing a different degree of ritual preparation.
Option I — The Unconsecrated Blade
With this option, you will receive the blade in its original, finished condition, without any ritual cleansing, empowerment or consecration performed by us.
This is particularly suitable for practitioners who prefer to undertake such operations themselves, or who follow traditions requiring their ritual instruments to be prepared and dedicated according to very specific procedures.
It is equally suitable for those who simply appreciate the craftsmanship and wish to acquire the knife as a practical or collectible item, without any particular magickal association. In short, you receive the blade exactly as it has been created, leaving all subsequent spiritual preparation entirely in your hands.
Option II — Cleansing & General Empowerment
With this option, we will undertake a complete ritual cleansing and empowerment of the blade before it is dispatched.
The purpose of this operation is to remove unwanted spiritual or energetic influences and establish the blade as a prepared instrument suitable for ritual and magickal use.
The empowerment will be paradigm-neutral, meaning that the blade will not be dedicated to any particular Deity, Entity, spiritual current or religious tradition.
Instead, the operation will focus upon awakening and strengthening the blade's qualities as a ritual instrument, preparing it to receive, direct and conduct the intent and operations of its eventual owner.
This option is particularly suitable for practitioners who work across several traditions, follow an eclectic approach, or simply wish to possess an empowered blade without having it tied to a specific spiritual system.
The owner remains entirely free to undertake additional consecrations, dedications or other operations at a later stage.
Option III — Specialised Ritual Consecration
The third option offers a more extensive and specialised approach.
With this option, we will undertake a paradigm-specific ritual consecration, preparing the blade according to a particular magickal tradition or spiritual current agreed upon with the purchaser.
This may include, for example, ceremonial magick, necromancy, traditional witchcraft, particular Deific or spiritual currents, or another suitable occult system.
Unlike the general empowerment, which is deliberately neutral, this operation will be designed around the principles, correspondences and spiritual framework of the selected tradition.
Depending upon the paradigm chosen, the preparation may involve specialised cleansing methods, ritual invocations, evocations, consecrations, the application of appropriate correspondences, and other operations relevant to that particular system.
The precise nature of the consecration will be discussed and agreed upon beforehand, allowing us to determine the most suitable approach.
This option is intended for the practitioner who wishes to receive not merely a completed knife, but an instrument that has already been ritually prepared and aligned with the particular spiritual or magickal system in which it will be employed.
Regardless of which of the three options you select, you may also choose to include a handmade leather sheath, created specifically for this blade. Like the knife itself, the sheath is made entirely by us.
It is not a generic, commercially manufactured sheath adapted to fit the knife, but rather one individually created to accommodate its particular shape and dimensions. The sheath provides a practical means of protecting the blade during storage and transportation, while complementing its handcrafted character.
This addition is entirely optional and may be selected alongside any of the three purchasing options.
The blade will also be accompanied by a certificate documenting its creation. This certificate serves as a record of the knife's origin, confirming that it is an original, handcrafted creation produced by us, together with its identifying details and unique status.
Where an empowerment or specialised consecration has been selected, the certificate will additionally record the nature of the ritual preparation undertaken. In the case of the unconsecrated option, the certificate will document the blade's creation without claiming that any empowerment has been performed.
This provides its eventual owner with a permanent record of the instrument's provenance and, where applicable, its ritual preparation.
We wish to emphasise once more that this is not a production-series knife. It is not something we intend to manufacture repeatedly, nor will this exact design be offered again at a later date. The combination of its genuine springbok horn handle, brass fittings, individually worked steel and overall design makes it a singular creation.
While we may produce other handcrafted ritual blades in the future, each will possess its own individual design and character. We also believe that a ritual instrument should, wherever possible, be something with which its owner can develop a meaningful and lasting relationship.
A blade that is handled, maintained, employed and gradually incorporated into a practitioner's workings may come to possess a significance extending well beyond its physical construction.
For some, this relationship begins with the act of personally consecrating the instrument. For others, it begins with receiving a blade that has already been prepared according to their chosen tradition.
Either approach is perfectly valid, and it is precisely why we have provided the different options.
Ultimately, whether this knife becomes a ceremonial blade, a dedicated instrument of witchcraft, a companion in more specialised occult operations, or simply a treasured example of individual craftsmanship, its purpose will be determined by the person who comes to possess it.
