To use it is simple: you simply anoint it with some of your blood (a drop will do) and speak an incantation we will provide you with. Directly once this is done, place it upon the property of your target - whether inside the house/building, outside the house/building, thrown onto the property, carefully placed or buried within the bounds of the property - it does not matter...so long as it is placed within the bounds of your target's property. 

Once so placed, everyone within the bounds of that property will come to ruin. The ruin it brings may or may not be violent or swift; as it will take the greatest weaknesses of the inhabitants and exploit it. It also serves as a beacon for malicious spirits to take up residence upon that property, to further wreak havoc.
 
Yet, its use is once-off: it should not be removed by you to use on another target. Where it is placed, it will enact its work.

It has been empowered over a period of 29 nights to serve this terrible purpose, and it will serve it well. Yes, it is safe to handle and keep with you until you want to use it - it will only awaken once it has been anointed and the words have been spoken.
